6th December 2003
Nothing to report. Land Manager not on site.
13th December 2003
Everything very wet and wintry. Muntjac back on site, Kingfisher
very bold now food scarcer. Other small birds ravenous.
20th December 2003
Muntjac seen again on Joe Masi's ex-allotment by a whole noisy
family. She was not. too bothered and just trundled away.
Kingfisher fishing up the small inlet at the top end of the Mere.
Alex and Katie report seeing a Barn owl over the site.
27th December 2003
Greater spotted woodpecker on site early Sunday, then drumming
away until about 2 pm all round the site and on the other side of
the river.
